My sister from Oregon was on a mission during her vacation home to finish many quilts. Her youngest son is a huge fan of trains, so she adapted a pattern my older sister designed to make this bigger version for her son to carry around. (See March 30,2008 for the original quilt) He loves it--but, will not allow anyone to call it a "quilt."
My sister made this quilt out of scraps to figure out the yellow brick road pattern. This was the last of five quilts I quilted for her this week. She completed every project on her list!!
My friend made this great quilt for her sister as a graduation present!!
