Awesome Wedding Quilt

Here is a picture of the quilt back. The quilting really shows up since I used a tan thread and the backing is navy blue. You can really see that triple Irish chain before you even look at the front!
This customer did a great job of choosing her fabrics. I think this color combination is stunning. She is giving this as a wedding gift in a week to her son. He wanted an heirloom quilt.

Baptism Quilt

This cute grandma had her granddaughter draw pictures of things that are important to her and sewed them together--misspellings and all--into this cute baptism quilt. What a treasure!!

Love the Colors

I think this customer has a huge talent for putting fabrics together and having them look fabulous. I would have been afraid to put some of these in the same quilt, but could they look more fabulous!?!? Love it!!

Patriotic Row Quilt

Many of my customers seem to be in a patriotic mode this month. This same customer has now done three patriotic quilts in the past few weeks--it's amazing what we can accomplish when we are stuck at home with sick kids!!

Gift for Missionary Mom

My friend's parents are serving a mission and she knows that her mother is missing her quilts. She decided to send her a quilt as a belated Mothers Day present out of some of her favorite fabrics. I know the gift will be much appreciated!!

Quilts

Baby quilt which combined both whimsical, realistic and batik fabrics.
This table topper was made from a kit--fabulous fabric, but HORRIBLE pattern, I am told.
Our quilt guild made these quilts last year--horray for finished projects!!
This quilt is to be donated for AIDS research. I think she was thinking twice about giving it away after she saw how cute it turned out!!
This king sized quilt was lovingly made for a daughter-in-law who picked out all the fabrics herself. What an incredible gift it was to sew this together!!

Sun Valley Memory Quilt

This quilt was a gift to the parents/grandparents who sponsored a great vacation to Sun Valley. Each participant drew a picture about their favorite part of the vacation and they set them together with this fabulous fabric. What a "Thank You"!!

Hawaiian Yellow Brick Road

I seem to be getting lots of quilts lately that are to be given as gifts to grandchildren who are moving away. This quilt was made from fabrics collected during a Hawaiian vacation.

Fat Quarter Exchange

Our quilt group does a fat quarter gift exchange every Christmas. How many people do you think actually use those fat quarters!?! I did!! The center of this quilt is made from my exchange fat quarters. Tonight, it was a wedding present!!

Gifts

This quilt was inspired by one found in an earlier post "Very Different Baby Quilts." HOORAY!! Someone is actually looking at this blog and drawing ideas from it!! You made my whole day!!
Isn't this an incredible baby boy quilt!!! LOVE IT!!
This is a seasonal quilt to be given as a Mother's Day gift. How cute is that one!!
This is an eighth birthday present for a granddaughter. I love the colors in this one. What little girl wouldn't go nuts over a quilt that pink!?! This one has wool batting in the center. I love wool for quilts intended for a bed, because they have more loft than a cotton batting, but aren't as airy as the polyester. This wool is washable and I think it has a really great look!
