Quilts for Tenderberry Stitches "Here Comes Santa"

This quilt was done by my sister, Mary, for Sharon Reynolds upcoming book.
I made this simple quilt. The middle is a solid piece of fabric with three borders.
This quilt was a little more work--ok, more than I imagined. I think it turned out pretty fun in the end. In designing this quilt, I had several moments where I just wasn't sure if this quilt would turn out or not. In the end, I am very happy with the way it looks!

Sage Green Baby Quilt

I love all the fun textures and colors in this quilt. There is nothing better than a quilt full of minkee to wrap a baby in. I love the stuff, if you hadn't noticed! This quilt was made by a customer for a grandchild who is expected any day.

Valentine Quilt

I love the colors chosen for this quilt!! I also really love the squares she has fussy cut to be the center square of each nine patch. Definitely a fun quilt!!

Quilt Class Sampler

My sweet customer learned all these different techniques in a quilting class and then wasn't so sure she liked the blocks. She is convinced there is only one of these blocks worth making again!! I think the end product is really fun!!

University of Utah

This is a family full of such die hard U of U fans, they make these quilts as baby blankets!!

All the "left overs" made a great sham!!

A Few of My Own

These Halloween fat quarters were given to me as a birthday present. Of course, I used the Yellow Brick Road pattern and I think it's a pretty cute quilt.
I tried to step out of my comfort zone and I used the Turning Twenties Again pattern. I didn't love it with only six fat quarters because it made a long skinny quilt. I added some extra red pieces on either side to try and compensate. In the end, I love the quilt, but probably wouldn't use that pattern again with so few fat quarters.
I designed this quilt out of one of Sharon's Halloween lines. This wasn't included in the book, but I love having it around.
I made this quilt as a store sample for Material Girls. My girls all want it. The applique in the center took a little more time than I expected, but I had a lot of fun making it.

I'm taking the rest of the week off--which is why I took the opportunity to add a bunch of quilts today. Please leave comments when looking at the web site, so I know what people are most interested in seeing.

Wedding Gift

This generous customer asked the bride and groom for their favorite colors and blended them to make this beautiful quilt. The bride's favorites are the main colors and the groom's are the accent colors.

Megan's First Quilt

My eight-year old daughter finished her first quilt today just in time to take to her church activity showing off her talents. She even long arm quilted it with help. Here she is snuggled up with her new quilt with the minkee backing.

Practical Use

My husband went through a phase when he wanted each quilt I made to be for something specific. He got over that by the way. To appease him, I made this quilt into a shower curtain by skipping the batting and putting button holes in the top to hang it. I still really love this quilt although, I confess, this was made exclusively with JoAnn fabric!! Since that time I have become somewhat of a fabric snob.

Incredible Border!!

My favorite part of this quilt is the border. I love the scalloped border. I love it that the green starts in the middle and then frames the quilt by being continued in the outer border. I love the wide red rick rack and I love the random circles in the outer border.

Stepping Out of Your Box

The same customer made this quilt and the previous quilt. This one was really stepping out of her box. I think this was a mystery quilt class that she took. I love it!! She wasn't so sure about it.

Another Charm Quilt

This quilt has the same blocks as the charm quilt I posted a few days ago. They are set quite differently, but both quilts are beautiful. It is fascinating to me how quilters can start with the same blocks or fabric and end up with such different quilts in the end.

Wedding Present for Heather

I try to make a quilt out of the wedding colors when we receive a wedding invitation/announcement. I made this for my cousin, Heather, who has waiting patiently for her prince charming. Her husband seems so great!! Good things are worth waiting for!! We are very excited for them! Hopefully, this quilt will remind them of their fabulous wedding day.

Kara's Quilt

Kara took some scraps I had sitting around from a store sample quilt I made and she created this darling quilt. She even long arm quilted it hersef. I'm thrilled that at least one of my daughter's seems to love quilting. The only part of this quilt we had to pay for was the batting and the minkee to go on the back. Hooray for free fabric when it come around!!

Bulls Eye

This is one of my all time favorite quilts I have made. I love it because it was an exchange with some dear friends and when I look at the individual blocks, they remind me of great friends. I also love it because it is just a darn god looking quilt!!

Charm Square Quilt

A couple of friends exchanged 6" finished charm squares and this is the end product!! I think this is absolutely a stunning use of lights and darks. This customer even had to leave out some of her squares so the quilt wouldn't be to big!!
