Quilts for Oregon

Julie was in town for just a few days, so she dropped off three quilts at 2:30 this afternoon and will pick them up tomorrow morning at 9 am. It made for a long day and a late night, but they are all done and ready for Oregon!! Julie's daughter (she is 12, I believe) made this fun quilt to learn how. What a fun project!!
My sister, Debbie, and her friend, Julie, each made a turning twenties quilt out of school colors for their high schoolers. They are, of course, backed in Black Minkee. Debbie is Young Women's president and will help each of the Seniors make a similar quilt out of their school colors.

BYU Quilt

I love this version of a BYU quilt!! Kathleen Day made this for her seven-year old grandson.

Same Pattern, Different Fabrics

Sandy Fullmer made this double Irish Chain as a companion quilt to the one she made for Kristen's twins with all the children around the border. This is made with the scraps from the first quilt.
Sandy also made herself a quilt out of the same pattern. It probably won't stay at her house long, but it's a nice thought to think you might end up with a quilt for yourself:)

Inside Out Quilt

Suzie Smith made this quilt for her son who is soon to be married. This Hawaiian quilt is made with each fabric wrong side out. Even the backing is wrong side out. I've never heard of that before, but it's beautiful!!

Busy Day

Jamie made this as a store Sample for Material Girls. They have plenty of kits available:)
I quilted this one yesterday. This is a cabin quilt made by Lorraine Day! The blocks were a thank you gift from friends. Her quilt group is having a contest to finish projects. She is going to get her name in that drawing as much as possible!!

This was made by Cynthia as a gift for a 24 year old girl dying of a heart defect. Hopefully, the quilt will get done in time!!

Shari Lindsay

Shari made this small quilt as a test colors before she makes a larger one. What a nice quilt for one made with fabrics from your stash!!
This baby quilt will have a scalloped border on two sides. I wish I could photograph the quilts after they are completely finish, but we will have to use our imagination!!

Turning Twenties

Karen Wight "helped" make this quilt for the daughter of a friend who is soon to be married. What a nice thing to do for a friend!

Material Girls Sample

This is a Jelly Roll pattern pieced by Jamie Moser for Material Girls Quilt Shop.

Alta High Dance Team

Patsy Crawford is making 16 of these quilts as a graduation present for the Alta High Dance team. Of course, these are the school colors. Each girl picked out their own fabric and she is doing all the sewing. I will not take pictures of all 16, but I thought I'd take two just so you could see how different the same pattern can look with different fabric choices, but same colors.

Spring Table Runner

Cathy Arends made this table runner from scraps left over from a lap sized quilt. What a fun bonus!!

Sue Wagner

I love this quilt. I am a huge fan of Redwork. Sue enlarged this pattern because she wanted it a little bigger. I love it!!
This quilt was a kit from a class. Also a very fun quilt!!
