Great Fabric Choices

I love this customers choices of fabrics. She did a fabulous job of combining lights and darks to create this striking quilt!! She also brought another fabulous appliqued quilt that I failed to photograph--I try, sorry!!

Catching Up!!

This "Picnic Quilt" is to be a wedding gift. I think this is way to beautiful to throw on the ground and set food out on...but what to I know? In any case, it is a very generous gift!!
I love this pirate fabric with the treasure map in the middle. What little boy wouldn't love to sleep under this? I love the creative use of this fun character fabric!!
This quilt was made as a summer project by a 12 or 13-year-old girl. Didn't she do a fabulous job?? She backed it in minkee so it will be a fantastic snuggle quilt.
This quilt was made using nothing but scraps. The back is also very pieced to make good use of all the left over fabric. Not only was it free (relatively, since she didn't buy anything new) but it's darling!! I quilted dragonflies (ie frog food) in the background. Very fun quilt!! I also must say..Hooray for using up scraps!!

Young Women's Value Quilt

My friend decided to make quilts for each of her nieces using the Young Women's value colors as they turn twelve. This is her first finished quilt and measures in just smaller than a twin. She is setting the standard high right from the start. What a meaningful and generous gift!

15th Ward Quilt

Here is another finished quilt from the 15th Ward. She made it to fit her Queen Sized bed.

Thomas the Train

What little boy wouldn't love this Thomas the Train quilt?!?! My friend used the scraps from a quilt she made for her son to make this quilt for his friend.

Catching Up!!

Beautiful throw!
Hooray!! Here's another finished project from Corner Canyon Quilters!!
Hooray!! Here is one of MY finished projects!! I've been collecting these 30's prints for a couple of years and also did a swap with a friend to get the variety I needed. I quilted it with wool batting to give the quilt a little loft and I'm pretty pleased with the finished product.
This quilt is a finished project from the 15th Ward. I love how different quilts from the same trade can turn out. This quilter decided to give this to her parents and embroidered their favorite things in the inner border. I love it that she included herself among their favorite things!!
