This "Picnic Quilt" is to be a wedding gift. I think this is way to beautiful to throw on the ground and set food out on...but what to I know? In any case, it is a very generous gift!!
I love this pirate fabric with the treasure map in the middle. What little boy wouldn't love to sleep under this? I love the creative use of this fun character fabric!!
This quilt was made as a summer project by a 12 or 13-year-old girl. Didn't she do a fabulous job?? She backed it in
minkee so it will be a fantastic snuggle quilt.
This quilt was made using nothing but scraps. The back is also very pieced to make good use of all the left over fabric. Not only was it free (relatively, since she didn't buy anything new) but it's darling!! I quilted dragonflies (
ie frog food) in the background. Very fun quilt!! I also must say..Hooray for using up scraps!!
