My sweet customer learned all these different techniques in a quilting class and then wasn't so sure she liked the blocks. She is convinced there is only one of these blocks worth making again!! I think the end product is really fun!!

That must be the class at Quilts etc. I have a similar one. I'm not sure I love the finished product, but the skills I learned making it were worth it.
