This quilt was brought to me by one of my great customers. I wish I could take credit for the piecing!! I understand it was a block of the month from The Cotton Shop--and NOT an inexpensive or easy project. The blocks are pieced using templates. This is definitely a work of art. This is custom quilted in a neutral thread and in a black thread. I took a picture of the back so you can see the feathers going around the outside border. This Queen-Sized quilt is quilted with wool batting to give it some loft. I love the way the log cabin blocks set off the other pieced blocks. What a fabulous way to set a block of the month quilt!!
