Cathy Arends sewed this snuggly blankey and backed it in minkee for her grandson, Joey. You know, if you make something for one grandchild, you end up doing it for all of them!!

I am creating this blog on the suggestion of my dear friend, Stephanie. I am hoping this will be an inspiration to fellow quilters and give us all some fresh ideas. I started quilting in Texas in about 1996 when some friends inspired me and helped me get started. I have been a long-arm quilter since May 2006. I absolutely love every aspect of quilting!!
